Rented an apartment from them in Adams MA. When we were shown the apartment it was vacant but looked like a tornado went through it. Claimed there were new carpets but they were the cheapest carpets I've ever seen. "New" paint was all over the trimming and there was shavings all over the floor. We were told it would be cleaned and be in new condition when we moved in. Signed the lease and told her when we would be moving in. The day we went to move in the maintenance man and his wife and children were inside "cleaning" since it had not been done yet. They were charging their cell phones and playing music in my apartment mind you the electric was already in my name. While they continued to clean (which did not look half as clean as it was supposed to be when they were done) their kids were in our way of moving our belongings in. Living there was not a terrible experience, although during the winter the plow company didn't come until 5 pm the day AFTER a snow storm making it hard for us to get to work the day of the storm. Landscaping during the summer is done first thing in the morning waking up children well before it was necessary (6:30 am). Upon giving our notice to move out we were contacted by Michelle a week befor moving out to show the apartment. I was pressured into saying yes although our lease said nothing about it. The day she was supposed to show it I told her I would be home. She did not knock on the door!! She walked in and on top of that the perspective tenants never showed up so she walked in rudely for no reason. During the final inspection she picked apart the apartment with a fine toothed comb down to scraping the stove top with her nails saying it was not clean. (Mind you it was very clean just what was there when we moved in was present upon move out.) I did end up fighting to get my whole security deposit back however I will never rent from them again! (Oh and people smoke in the public hallways and laundry room which was gross. And nothing was done abou it!)
